I discovered Gill's Automotive shop back in 2001 when I first moved from Old Town Alexandria to Sterling, VA. They worked on routine work my Honda Civic needed b/c I refused to take it to the dealership since I know they mark up their services for greater profit / less value to a customer. Whereas at Gill's I was assured to receive greater value for my $ spent there. Once I started to upgrade certain items on my Civic, I also took it into Gill's for them to professionally install parts I purchased on my own, certainly knowing they'd do an excellent job when returned to me. Ended up moving away after 2005 but now am back in their neighborhood almost 20 years later & glad to know they've been so successful & still running such a superior shop. Took my Lexus in, for what I thought was an alternator replacement ($$$$) but in fact, after their analysis, it was just working on battery replacement & a short circuit caused by that bad battery. HONEST, DEPENDABLE, TRUSTWORTHY....these are the very qualities I will always keep recommending & keep coming back to Gill's.. Thanks again everyone!

Going to Adam & Barbara at Gills Automotive for our auto maintenance and repair needs is a no-brainer. They are authentic, and deal with their clients ethically. Some auto services treat men and women differently. That is not the case at Gills. I recommend this company and it’s owners 100%, for the level of care, customer service, quality of work, and integrity.

Excellent service! Easy to book online and very professional. I have a BMW and they have a mechanic that is familiar with foreign cars. Will definitely use in the future for all of my car issues.
